Members Visit to CCL Label Limited

CCL Label Limited proudly invites RECOUP members to CCL industries Which creates innovative packaging solutions for life.

Serving the packaging and promotional industry for over sixty years, CCL is the global supply chain leader of innovative premium packaging, promotional vehicles and comprehensive label solutions for the world’s largest consumer, agricultural and healthcare corporations.

With 213 production facilities in 42 countries this an opportunity for RECOUP members to visit two adjacent sites producing pressure sensitive labels and shrink sleeves, incorporating the newest technology, ideas, and features.

CCL labels and sleeves support Design for Recycling – Essentially CCL want to support our members in achieving their sustainability goals and accelerating this were possible. Making sure products fit the “Design for Recycling” guidelines that drive much of the rethinking packaging activities at the small and big brands.

CCL will present their sustainability roadmap “The Positive Program – Enlabeling Sustainability.”

The program has three main pillars, The Positive Plastic Pledge, Positive Products and Production and The Positive Academy.

CCL are committed to using varied materials from paper to plastic for unique solutions, pledging a sustainable approach when dealing with plastics aimed at producing more sustainable solutions for our customers, which will be highlighted during the tours of the two sites.

This visit is only open to non-competitors please do not book any transport or accomodation until you have received confirmation from Rebecca Davis at RECOUP of your confirmed spot.

Clean Tech part of Plastipak proudly invites RECOUP members to visit one of Europe’s leading rPET pellet and flake manufacturers. The site produce food grade rPET pellets that are approved by the European Food Safety Authority and our customers manufacture PET packaging and other PET products across Europe. They operate the UK’s largest and most technically advanced PET bottle reprocessing plant and can handle in excess of 100,000t of PET packaging every year.

New Categories Announced for The RECOUP Awards 2025 – Submit Your Entries Now!       

Entries are now open for The RECOUP Awards 2025, recognising outstanding achievements in plastics resource efficiency and recycling, contributing towards a more circular plastics value chain. With new categories added for 2025, the awards aim to recognise and celebrate the innovative and inspiring projects and initiatives that have helped to drive the industry forward and lead to a more sustainable future.

The awards are FREE to enter with entries welcome from all relevant organisations and individuals looking to be recognised for their work and initiatives under the following award categories:

  • Plastics Industry Champion
  • Plastics Circularity Project of the Year
  • Best Innovation in Equipment or Technology
  • Best Plastic Product Development for Recyclability or Re-Use
  • Recycled Plastic Product of the Year
