EPR – Updated Deadline Information for the Next Reporting Period, Including Information About Registration Deadlines

Under the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations, packaging data must be collected and submitted based on organisation size. As of 20 October 2025, these deadlines have been updated.

Larger producers must report their data twice yearly. The last deadline data submission for the period between 1 January to 30 June 2025 was by 1 October 2025. The next submission deadline for large producers between 1 July and 31 December 2025 is by 1 April 2026.

Smaller producers must report their data annually. For the period covering 1 January to 31 December 2025, the data submission deadline is by 1 April 2026.

These should be submitted through the ‘report packaging data’ service. Missed data submission deadlines should be reported to your relevant environmental regulator. These are:
• The Environment Agency (EA) in England
• Natural Resources Wales (NRW)
• Northern Ireland Environment Agency (NIEA)
• Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA)
