New RECOUP & Ecosurety Project to Assess and Address the Decline of the UK Current Plastic Packaging Recycling Infrastructure

The project aims to assess and address the decline of UK plastic packaging recycling infrastructure and propose actionable policy and commercial solutions to build a thriving circular economy by 2030.

It seeks to define what actions can not only stop the decline of the plastic packaging recycling infrastructure in the UK but build a thriving and resilient sector that’s attractive to third-party investment. 

The focus of the research is on post-consumer plastic packaging, but all plastic packaging is in scope of the project.  We are talking to a number of key reprocessing companies and organisations to gather the whole range of opinions and collect the most relevant data, and we will greatly appreciate your input if you are a reprocessor or represent the UK Recycling industry.
