Plastic LCA Library Update

What is the LCA library? The LCA Library is a database of publicly available LCAs on plastics ( nearly 600 studies), split into two parts:

• Materials & Products
• Recycling Processes & End-of-life

Both parts are searchable to help the user navigate to relevant studies. Each result list will provide a brief overview of the studies found, along with a link to the LCA study.

The LCA Library was developed through collaboration between RECOUP and the BPF to help find publicly available Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) of plastic materials, products, and processes. The LCA library can help quickly identify those studies that meet the requirements of a particular research topic or facilitate an initial comparison of different materials during the early scoping phase of a project.
