UK Government Release Easy-To-Access Guidance on Classifying Waste

The government released a collection of guidance documents on 1 May 2025 on how to correctly identify and classify different types of waste before sending it for recycling or disposal.

The collection of documents, which span the last 11 or so years, offers guidance on construction and demolition waste, hazardous waste, WEEE, packaging waste and recyclables and more.

It also includes documents on waste import and export, and full technical guidance on classifying waste.
