Profile

Stuff4Life is a start-up circular economy company where action speaks louder than words. The company is initially focused on establishing a circular economy for workwear and PPE, working in partnership with Arco and Teesside University.  Stuff4Life has successfully designed and scaled up an efficient, low carbon depolymerisation technology for polyester textiles.

The patent-pending technology produces high quality feedstock materials ready for repolymerisation. The process unlocks circularity, through collaboration on redesigned products and new business models to enable circularity-as-a-service.

The company was founded by university pals John Twitchen and Dr Miles Watkins.  John is a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management and friend of RECOUP, and Miles is a Chartered Environmentalist.  Both have extensive experience in the resource management and renewable energy sectors.  Stuff4Life is available to help industry solve problems and make the circular economy work.
