RECOUP attend Veolia UK’s Sustainable Futures Conference

We would like to say Thank You, to RECOUP member Veolia UK for inviting us to be part of their Sustainable Futures Conference in London last week. It was great to meet various Veolia staff and local authority customers. Stuart from RECOUP provided an update on ‘what’s next for plastics’ including how expected changes will impact resource management for plastics, and what local authorities can do to prepare for the future.

There were some very engaging discussions on the day and some useful insights around Simpler Recycling on a practical level. The keynote speaker, Liz Bonnin alongside Veolia’s Gavin Graveson really set the scene well and it is clear that there is much work still to be done across the sustainability and resources space going forward.
