James Clark, Director of Policy & Communications, HTA.
James leads the policy and communications team at the HTA, the only ornamental horticultural membership association that represents the full industry value chain from seed and young plant distributors to growers, manufacturers, retailers and landscapers. James iis responsible for government relations, policy development, member and stakeholder communications, sustainability and market insights.

He is a policy, public affairs and communications professional with 20 years’ experience working in high profile, complex industries. He joined the HTA in June 2019 from Sanofi, a global life-sciences company, having previously worked for Coca-Cola European Partners (CCEP) GB team, Sainsbury’s and a number of other national organisations. While at CCEP he was heavily involved in engaging government, industry and NGOs about packaging and recycling policy in Great Britain. 

John Twitchen, External Relations - Amey Waste Treatment.
John is a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management with over 25 years' experience in the resource management sector. John's role is focused on communications and stakeholder engagement across a wide range of planning, policy and practice issues. Interesting fact: John's Dad and brother are both landscape gardeners! 

Michael Nordlohne, Regional Sales Manager, Pöppelmann TEKU®.
Michael joined Pöppelmann in March 2013, and he has direct responsibility for sales to some major horticulture markets around the world in his role of Regional Sales Manager. With a strong market understanding and knowledge for decisions which will grant an adequate growth within the market, Michael manages a team of Area Sales Managers and Sales Reps for the European market of the horticulture division TEKU.

Julia Schifter, TIPA
Julia joined TIPA in 2012 and is leading the strategic analysis in the company. Prior to joining TIPA, she served as the Head of Production at UCM, a film production company, where she managed local and International production projects at considerable scales. Previously, she worked as a line producer in Abot Barkai Telisma, a TV & film production company.

Julia Schifter holds Global MBA (Finance Major) from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and BFA in Film & Television from Tel Aviv University (with Honors).

Jane Hartley, Sustainability Marketing Manager, Evergreen Garden Care.
Jane is an experienced Marketing Manager at Evergreen Garden Care, with responsibility in evolving Evergreens sustainability credentials, developing an online training academy, and managing our Consumer Care Line.   Her proudest moment was winning a Chelsea Flower Show Gold in 2017 for our “Come to your senses Eco Therapy Garden.”
