Stuart Hayward-Higham, Technical Director, Suez
Currently responsible for a range of strategy and commercial development activities in SUEZ UK, delivering solutions to meet the business and customer needs. Leads the Expert Practitioner consultancy services delivered for our customers and sector stakeholders.  Main activity themes include harnessing waste as a resource, energy and bio-fuels manufacture, sorting, extraction and value enhancement for waste mix resources, customer solutions, research and development under the increasing influence of carbon, biodiversity and natural capital. Stuart has over 25 years’ experience in the industry and has wide technical and commercial skills and experience in the field of waste and resource management, markets, strategy, technologies and the environment.

Paul East, Packaging Sustainability Manager, RECOUP
Paul is a member of the Institute of Packaging and has extensive knowledge of packaging materials and processes as a result of over 20 years of experience dealing with packaging from within the food industry as Packaging Buyer, Packaging Technologist and Packaging Innovation Manager. For RECOUP, Paul has written and compiled many versions of RECOUP’s Recyclability by Design publications and provides assessment and guidance for the recycling of packaging for RECOUP Members and a range of clients. 

James Kay, Director, Resource Efficiency Wales.
James is a member of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management (MCIWM) with over fifteen years’ experience in the resource sector, and also a Fellow of the Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (FRSA). He sits on the Cymru Centre Council and represents the Centre at CIWM Members Council.
He has been the regional waste co-ordinator (RWC) for the Collaborating Local Authorities in Resource Efficiency (CLAIRE) Wales Group for over ten years. He is responsible for sourcing regional recycling/reuse solutions to the fourteen local authority members of the CLAIRE Wales group and also delivers a variety of training and briefings to local authority waste and recycling staff from front-line collection staff through to Elected Members. He has trained and briefed well over 3,000 persons in his career. Resource Efficiency Wales are a limited by guarantee company which houses the RWC post. This post has been funded by Welsh Councils since 1998.

David Walsh, Chief Executive Officer, Impact Recycling
David is the CEO of Impact Recycling. David has a long track record in developing recycling technologies and launching new technologies in the circular economy. David was previously the Managing Director of Durable Planet operating recycling autoclaves in the UK & Ireland and before that was the CEO and Chief Investment Officer at Appleton Capital, an Irish Hedge Fund.

Kinza Sutton, Head of Public Affairs & Sustainability, Plastipak
Kinza is a specialist in PET plastic in the circular economy, including recycling. Currently focused on public affairs, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, she represents Plastipak and Clean Tech in the current adverse, anti-plastics climate. Engage with governments, industry associations and other key stakeholders on key policy development areas in the plastics industry. Active member of the UK Plastics Pact, which strives to transform plastic packaging in the UK.
