Recently we have had five new members join RECOUP, here is a little bit of information about them:

  • Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd - Since they set up shop in 1869, they’ve always had a strong sense of social, environmental and economic responsibility and an understanding that their success depends on society’s success.Today, with one billion people living in extreme poverty; malnutrition and obesity becoming more prevalent and our planet’s resources being pushed to their limits, their values are helping us to drive lasting, positive change in the UK and internationally.
  • Polytag Limited is a UK start-up that has developed a process methodology of marking and detection that could revolutionise the UK recycling sector. The immediate focus of Polytag is the FMCG sector and to implement its technology to enable them and their manufacturers the ability to recover their own packaging materials (principally polymers) through the current waste infrastructure for onward recycling (not down-cycling) and compounding back to a known material specification for reuse into their own products.
  • Colloids is part of the Tosaf group of companies, one of the plastic industry's leading multinational suppliers of masterbatch / concentrates. With a global reach, over 75% of Colloids' production is exported to a vast range of countries including those in Europe, NAFTA and AP regions.
  • Coonlocken Ltd offer innovative solutions for convenience food consumption. We specialise in products that are re-usable, recyclable or compostable. Our products can  be applied to the packaging by high speed applicators on existing production lines.
  • Lions Clubs International (LCI) is an international non-political service organization established originally in 1916 in Chicago, Illinois by Melvin Jones.  As of April 2015, it had over 46,000 local clubs and more than 1.7 million members (Lions & LEO) in over 200 countries around the world.  Great Britain is split into a series of Districts.
