Increased resources for farmers

A new website launched by FarmPlas will enable farmers to gain access to valuable tools and information to prepare and conform to the new agricultural waste legislation.

This new resource from Farmplas will focus on showing farmers there is a simple and sustainable solution for waste plastic, with all plastic collected by the scheme, recycled at the specialist plant in South Wales and fed back into UK manufacturing.

In addition organisations and groups responsible for advising local farmers on how to handle their waste will be able to order support materials such as posters and guides and can organise for a member of the FarmPlas Network to attend any workshops or events.

The FarmPlas Network is just one of the UK's growing number of national and regional network collection schemes. The scheme is run farmers for farmers, it provides a cost-effective, high-quality service, collecting and recycling all farm plastic waste.
